Father Knows Best#10: Why Your Value Isn’t Measured

We live in a world that keeps score — followers, likes, promotions, applause.

It’s easy to believe that your worth rises and falls with your achievements, your image, or your influence.

But I want you to hear this clearly: Your value was set by God before the world had an opinion about you.

And nothing on earth can add to it or take it away.

Now lets read some words from Brother Percy. His insight will give us some more clarity.

Dear Daughter,

I’ve seen how this world tries to measure a person’s worth.

If you’re liked, you’re celebrated.

If you have the right label, you’re respected.

If you have the title, you’re given the seat at the table.

But I want you to remember something:

“Your identity is not a scoreboard — it’s a seal from God.”

A seal can’t be removed by public opinion.

A scoreboard can change every game — but your seal in Christ is permanent.

You are not valuable because of your position.

You are valuable because you are His.

Likes fade. Labels peel off. Titles get replaced.

But the truth God speaks over you lasts forever: “You are chosen. You are loved. You are mine.”

Lord,

Thank You for giving my daughter value that no one can diminish.

Help her to stand strong when the world tries to measure her by temporary things.

Remind her daily that she is engraved on Your hands — loved, chosen, and secure in You.

Let her worth be anchored in Your truth, not the world’s approval.

💬 Personal Insight from Me

I’ve had seasons where I measured my worth by what people said about me or the title I held. But my dad’s voice — and God’s Word — pulled me back to what’s real: I’m already loved, already valuable, already enough.

Let me share that the abuse was real. The pain of living to what others thought about me was real. My life at the time, was like living in a fog. The light was blurry. I would get turned around in my head on who and what I am. I was constantly looking for other's approval/acceptance.

Finally, my dad's voice came to me to remind me who I am. I am God's favorite Child!

God reinforced that thought by blessing me and leading me in His word. I live in a space that I am God's favorite Child.

I want you to live in that space too, Sis. You are loved, you are enough, and you are a treasure to this world.
