The Power of a Quiet Spirit in a Noisy World.

Ladies, we live in a world that shouts and shouts loud.

Everyone has something to say, a point to prove, an opinion to push. Even to the point of pushing their opinion(s) on you.

It’s easy to think the only way to be heard is to get louder. WAIT! BEFORE WE TRY LOUDER, lets try a different approach.

But in God’s kingdom, there is a different kind of power — the power of a quiet spirit.

Not silent because you have nothing to offer, but peaceful because you know who holds you.

Let's see what Bro. Percy has to say, as he mastered this special art.

Dear Daughter,

You don’t have to match the noise of the world to make a difference.

The loudest person in the room isn’t always the wisest and doesn't always have the right answer.

True strength is often wrapped in stillness.

“Peace is not weakness — it’s proof you know Who’s in control.”

A quiet spirit doesn’t mean you’re timid or afraid. It means you have a confidence that doesn’t need constant defending. Your power is in silence.

It’s choosing not to react to every provocation. You can hear the words that are being said instead of getting ready for the battle. Listen with your heart in the silence and speak truth with an open heart.

It’s trusting God enough to rest when others are striving. Trust God to know when it is time to speak truth.

It’s holding your ground without raising your voice. Be the gentle voice that brings everyone a peaceful atmosphere.

The world might confuse your peace for passivity — but God calls it strength.

And in His hands, your quiet spirit becomes a testimony.

📖 Scriptural Anchor

“Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.”

— 1 Peter 3:4 (NIV)

Lord,

Thank You for the gift of a quiet spirit in my daughter’s life.

Teach her that peace is power. Teach her that her quiet words have strength and vibrate with truth.

Help her to stand firm without shouting, to shine without striving, and to trust You enough to rest.

Let her confidence be in You alone — a testimony to Your faithfulness in a noisy world.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

🪞 Reflection Prompt: Practicing Peace

This week, find one situation where you would normally react quickly or speak right away.

Instead, pause. Breathe. Pray.

*Ask yourself: “What would it look like to respond with a quiet spirit here?”

*Write down what happens and how it changes the atmosphere.

From a Father’s heart to yours,

Bro. Percy

Personal Insight from Me

My father taught me early that my peace and silence was a weapon. That I didn’t have to join the noise to make an impact. Truth will always find its way to the light despite the noise of the world.

That lesson has kept me from countless arguments, unnecessary battles, and wasted energy. I was able to spend my energy where it needed to be spent. I know that it is easy to be drawn into the noise of this world. Some people will lie on you, some people will try to manipulate you and gaslight you. Each of these areas is noise. I am not by any means telling you to stay completely silent, the truth needs to be said. Say it with patience and a quiet spirit. Sometimes the softer we talk the more we are heard. Trust God in it all.

And now I’m passing it to you: Your quiet spirit is not a weakness. It’s a reflection of your trust in God.
