Dear Daughter,

From the first time I looked at you, I knew you had a powerful mind. You asked bold questions. You thought deeply. You had that fire — not just in your personality, but in how your mind worked.

So let me say this loud and clear:

You were never meant to shrink.

Not your voice.
Not your intelligence.
Not your spirit.

But too often, the world convinces women to hide their brilliance — to soften their shine so others feel comfortable. That’s not humility; it’s bondage. And today, we’re breaking free.

You were designed with divine intelligence, unique insight, and sacred purpose. And you don’t need to dim down to be loved.

This post is your reminder: God made you brilliant — not by accident, but by intention.God didn’t make you smart so you could hide it.

He made you smart so you could build something.
He made you wise so you could lead.
He made you sharp so you could cut through lies and carry truth.

I know this world might try to quiet you down. They may say you’re “too much,” "too sensitive," “too deep,” or “too strong-minded.” But daughter — your brilliance is not too much. It’s a reflection of God's image in you.

Psalm 139:14 tells us:

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

So I’ll tell you what I always told you when you doubted yourself:

“Your mind is a temple — don’t decorate it with doubt.”

Don’t apologize for being intelligent. Don’t downplay what God planted in you. Walk tall, speak clearly, and think boldly. God gave you a brilliant mind for a reason — don’t shrink to fit spaces He never designed you for.

📖 Scripture Integration

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
— Psalm 139:14 (NIV)

Father God,
Thank You for the mind You gave my daughter — so full of wisdom, strength, and insight.
Help her to see what I see — a brilliant, beautiful reflection of You.
When the world tells her to quiet down, give her boldness.
When doubt creeps in, remind her she is Yours.
Teach her to walk confidently in the brilliance You gave her,
and never to trade it for false peace or smaller spaces.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

✍️ From a Father’s heart to yours,

Bro. Percy

🪞 Reflection Prompt: Your Brilliance in Action

This week, write down three ways you’ve made yourself smaller — whether in your ideas, your voice, your ambition, or your calling.

Then, commit to one bold step for each one.
Let your light speak. Let your mind lead. Let your confidence rise.

💬 Personal Insight from me

I’ll never forget when my father looked me in the eyes and said, “Bertillia, you’re intelligent — don’t hide that to make people feel better.”

I would even see him look at my picture, that was always in his bible. With a smile on his face telling my picture that I was intelligent; as if he was practicing the words that he would tell me before our "FATHER-DAUGHTER talks".

Those moment shaped me. It gave me permission to trust my voice, even in rooms where I felt out of place. And now I say it to you, Sis — you are not too much. You are enough and more than capable.

Let’s take up space together.
